Botfly Maggot Displacement Inside A Little Pussycat’s Neck

Yesterday afternoon five three-week-old kittens were brought to us, after their mother had been killed on a road. While examining these sweet kitties,

we noticed the smallest kitten had a wound on his neck, and during cleaning, our foster Elaine noticed some movement;

sure enough there was huge botfly maggot in center of his neck! Elaine was able to remove the foul insect intact,

and as of yesterday evening, these lovely kittens were happily chewing on some slurry, and were settling into foster care. In three days, man eating cat to your new best friend
